the accommodation was top, notch, offering the best of Scottish hospitality. Harry and Shirley Ogilvie, the proprietors, really made us feel at home, making sure our visit to Edinburgh was not only comfortable but truly enjoyable. the guest house itself is located in one of Edinburgh's Grade A listed buildings, right in the midst of the city's world, renowned New Town. the room was cozy and well, equipped, with a private bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. the dining room offered a delicious continental or full Scottish breakfast to start our day off right. What I loved most about Elder York was the golf concierge service provided through their association with Ultimate Golf Service. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just starting out, the staff here are more than happy to help you plan the perfect golfing experience in Edinburgh. Elder York Guest House is a hidden gem in the heart of Edinburgh, offering a blend of history, luxury, and warm hospitality. I can't wait to come back for another round of golf and explore more of this beautiful city with Elder York as my home base.
